Effective November 4, 2026 · Last updated November 4, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to OC-DreamTeam.com and its private member hub (together, the “Site”), operated by The Dream Team, a private networking group of independent professional advisors in Orange County, California (“the Dream Team,” “we,” “us” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
Nothing on the Site is legal, tax, accounting, financial, investment, real estate, valuation or other professional advice, and nothing on the Site is an offer to buy or sell any security or other investment. Content is provided for general information only and may not reflect current law or market conditions. Do not act or refrain from acting based on anything on the Site without obtaining advice from a qualified professional about your specific situation.
Using the Site, contacting us or contacting a member through the Site does not create an attorney-client, accountant-client, fiduciary, advisory, brokerage or any other professional relationship with the Dream Team or any member. A professional relationship is formed only by a separate written engagement directly between you and a member or the member’s firm. Please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information through the Site or to the group’s email address.
Each member is an independent professional who practices through his or her own firm and is solely responsible for the services he or she provides. The Dream Team does not provide professional services, does not supervise members’ work, and does not endorse, guarantee or warrant any member’s services. Any introduction or referral is made as a courtesy, and you are responsible for evaluating any professional you choose to engage. Past results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
The member hub is available only to invited members. Members must keep their login credentials confidential, are responsible for activity under their accounts and must tell us promptly at admin@oc-dreamteam.com about any unauthorized use. We may suspend or remove access at any time, including when membership ends.
Members are responsible for the accuracy of what they post and for having the right to share it. Each time they log in, members confirm that they have read and agree to these Terms, including the Confidentiality section below. We keep a record of each confirmation.
Membership depends on trust. The obligations in this section apply to every member and to anyone else who is given access to the member hub.
What is confidential. All of the following is “Confidential Information”: the member roster; member profiles, contact details, bios and photos; referral guides and one-pagers; collateral, documents and other files; forum, community and other posts and messages; meeting dates, locations, agendas, attendance and other meeting information; anything said or shared at or in connection with a meeting; referrals and referral details; and any information about clients, prospects or their matters that members share with one another. This applies whether the information is in the member hub, in print, by email or in conversation. It does not include information that is already public through no breach of these Terms, that a member independently developed or lawfully received from someone else without a duty of confidentiality, or that a member chooses to share about himself or herself (for example, a member’s own client one-pager).
Permitted use. Members may use Confidential Information only for the purposes of the group, namely to make, receive and follow up on referrals and introductions and to take part in the group’s activities.
What members may not do. Except as permitted above, members may not, and may not help anyone else to:
A member may share another member’s information with a specific client or prospect only to make a requested introduction, and only to the extent that member would expect.
Client confidentiality and professional obligations. Each member remains bound by his or her own professional, ethical, regulatory and contractual duties, including attorney-client privilege, accountant confidentiality, fiduciary duties and privacy and securities laws. Nothing in these Terms or in the group requires any member to share privileged, client-confidential or other protected information, and members must not share client or prospect information without the client’s or prospect’s consent where consent is required. Members should share only what is needed to make an introduction and should not post client-identifying or sensitive information in the member hub.
Safeguarding. Members must protect Confidential Information with at least reasonable care, keep their login credentials private, not share their accounts, and promptly tell us at admin@oc-dreamteam.com if they learn of any unauthorized access, use or disclosure.
Required disclosure. If a member is required by law, regulation, court order or professional rule to disclose Confidential Information, the member may disclose only what is required and, where lawful, should give us and any affected member prompt notice.
When membership ends. When a person’s membership or access ends for any reason, he or she must stop using Confidential Information and promptly return, delete or destroy all copies in his or her possession, including downloads, exports, printouts and contact entries made from the roster, except for information the person is legally required to keep, client files the person’s firm keeps in the ordinary course, and contacts with whom the person has an independent professional relationship.
Survival. These confidentiality obligations continue after a person’s membership or access ends.
Remedies. A breach of this section may result in suspension or removal from the group and loss of access to the member hub. Because a breach may cause harm that money damages cannot adequately remedy, the group and any affected member may seek injunctive or other equitable relief, in addition to any other remedies available by law, without having to prove actual damages to the extent the law allows.

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect, and the affected provision will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law.
